Funniest thing I've read on the Internet for ages
Maybe it's only funny to me, because I'm currently dealing with unpleasantries from Sonikmatter management, but I laughed out loud when I read this post. (For those that don't know, clif is one of the administrators and owners of the site. Brian and Rick are ex-owners and contributors to the site, and George used to work for Kurzweil, and had a wonderful site that has been reproduced at sonikmatter.)

Glad you find it harr-larious Jason.
I have never said a single bad thing about you. In fact, I've always said I thought you were extremely talented. I created that site so that people like you could have a place to play...I never shirked a single duty on the site, nor did I hesitate to put money into it when we had none. Hell, I actually started another company solely for the fact that it would get Sonik off the ground.
I completely understand why you had no time to do what you promised you would. Your life changed and it no longer had anything to do with Sonik. You even admitted your priorities were elsewhere. And again, even though I completely understand, it wasn't fair for those putting their heart and soul and putting other parts of their lives on hold to make the place what it was.
I made the site for talented people like you. I freely admit that you could out program me any day of the week. If you can ever find anywhere that I said differently, I apologize in advanced. Sometimes we say things out of turn, and occasionally we say things out of spite. I *HOPE* I never get to this point (or have in the past).
I'm not angry with you, even though I'm a little saddened by this (and the stories that were spread that are causing this attitude). But even this, I understand...
I'm sorry about how it went down and even if you do not consider me a friend, I consider you a friend.
By the way, I found this looking for a post a friend had done on sonik through Google blog search. Not that I'm not interested in what you are up to because whatever it is, I'm certain it is interesting (and not saying this in some some snarky backhanded way).
I wish you well, and still hope to run into you one of these days (even though you will probably be driving a 2 ton pickup truck and aiming it directly at me). Give me a buzz if you ever put this behind you...and if you don't send me some hate mail to let me know you are still around.

I simply said that I laughed out loud when I read the conversation in the forum, and given my normal mood at the moment when I need to deal with anything related to sonikmatter, that is unusual, hence my blog post. I'm sorry that my petty amusement has saddened you.
If you have an issue with anything that was said in that thread, may I suggest that you take that up with the author of the comments, rather than blaming me for what was said. I have not participated in that thread since I was asked to leave.
I am however, somewhat offended by the tacit accusations that I am somehow responsible for spreading stories, or saying things out of spite.
